Getting to Know Diana Keough
Diana Keough is an award-winning journalist and storyteller whose vibrant career has now expanded into the world of painting. Based in Atlanta, Diana channels her lifelong passion for narrative into visual art, exploring themes of identity, faith, and forgiveness through bold strokes and intricate layers.
Diana is a self-taught artist whose passion for painting didn’t begin until she was in her 50s. Diana’s paintings often echo her exploration of complex relationships and introspection, blending color and form to evoke emotion and reflection. Whether on canvas or paper, her works invite viewers to pause, immerse, and uncover the stories behind each piece.
Her painting journey is deeply personal, influenced by decades of storytelling as a writer, producer, and journalist. Diana’s art reflects a world of resilience and hope, shaped by her experiences as a wife, mother, and advocate for authentic connection.
Diana continues to learn under the instruction of Geri Eubanks, who has strongly influenced her style, as well as Melissa Lyons, who pushed Diana to find her own voice and paint looser and freer.
